Alpha version ready. I am trying to get permission to show you guys here but I am still in negotiation with higher powers /R
I know it looks only "fairly good" so far This is a very early version and it's just to show you at least something of what we're doing.We've been working a lot on engine features in order to maximize the fun and versatility of the game. We are implementing parts of the sound effects and sound track today, and will also be finishing up the character animations and texturing. Will try to show more on May 31. Oh, and I think we'll have to remove the Alpha video soon
We had to take it down unfortunately. Hoping we can put it back up soon. We've made some great progress today, but are having some issues with the sound engine. If we can make it the way we want it without wasting too much time, I think everyone will be very pleased. Overall, we think we have a really unique concept and hope that during the remaining time before Beta and Launch we'll be able to balance the game in a way that makes it one of the best iPhone game up to date. We'll have fierce competition with the upcoming Revolt game that looks similar to Project Unknown and very polished. We're hoping to offer a different experience to our fans and that there is room for both games on the AppStore Stay tuned for more...
You know I just realized the similarities between this and Revolt but the way how things are looking now this will probably be ready before Revolt so you guys should have the head start
thanks for the update!! but i think you should take your time on the sound issues. It goes back to the debate "Its better to have a completely finished game that takes a while to make vs. I want this game fast and i dont care if they continue to add features, that should already be in the game before release, via updates"
