This SMB is one of my favorite games ever. I can't wait for VVVVVV to finally make it to iOS. Too bad the Ms Splosion Man port didn't turn out right. I love difficult platformers, but not ones that are just difficult for the sake of being difficult. I like them if they are fair, have good controls, and are a well-rounded good game. If I'm not able to consistently advance, then it isn't worth it for me... I have almost d/l'd 14px a few times, but haven't yet. Also, a few more I want to add to the "twitch" discussion: - Bitless - Cubus Velox - Gauge
Bitless is awesome. Insanely hard but so addictive. Haven't tried the other two, but if you enjoy Gauge, you have to try 1800 (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/1800/id622356272)
Another one, that isn't really "twitch", but should appeal to people who like these others, is 'Circadia'. If you haven't played Circadia, seriously...check it out. Is a classic.
Another game, released last month and is being severely overlooked, is Orris https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id698070351 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=206847 Best impression I found from the thread:
In all honestly, most of the comments in this discussion should probably be moved to this http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=208401; this is the Boson X thread after all.
Actually this thread would be best for this discussion. I'm moving over there, welcome to join me: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=208401
We were discussing these types of games in the Boson thread. Here's another game, released last month and being severely overlooked: Orris https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id698070351 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=206847 Best impression I found from the thread:
That does look good, sad that I've never even heard of it. As for Gauge - Game that Lazer mentioned, it's one of my favourites. If you last long enough you will question your sanity.
Did the devs add any new control options for Brave Bit? I found the controls cramped on iPhone --- - Geometry Dash It's a rhythm-based Impossible Game/Space is Key-style game, with user content as well
Games I'm looking at to buy Brick Roll Orris Air Supply Infinite Dynamite Jack Would you consider Dynamite Jack as this kinds of games? I tries the lite version of DJ and it seemed the game has the kind of quick reflexes, difficult gameplay
What was the game where you had to dodge lasers and missles while collecting gems and could basically switch gravity? It was a single screen game. --- Brave Bit would benefit a lot from Incoboto style controls. I still find the controls cramped. Not impossible but it's a bit unwieldy
The ones I have are Don't shoot yourself. Beat leap. Super hexagon Pivvot Duet game Boson x Groove vortex. Octagon Line bound. And I'll add wingdot to this list, it's not quite what you'd call a twitcher but is grouped in that category in my head, if that makes sense lol. Got a few more to check out now from this thread
