Very impressive! Did he mention anything about 2g ipod touches? he said something about 2g iPhones will run it, but what about ipods?
Rage hasn't come out for any platform yet -- it won't release till 2011. @Notthevictim: The iPod Touch 2g is faster than the iPhone 3G, so it shouldn't be an issue.
No, the iPod Touch 2G is quite abit faster than a 2G iPhone (It doesen't matter what 2G is to you (network or generation)) It wouldn't sell as well, so I'm quite sure it won't.
maybe because the video and screenshots only showed the tech/graphics demo and nothing of the actual game itself?
wow it looks like xbox graphics on an ipod touch........imagine what its gonna look like on the ipad!
Wait HAWX 2 for the iPhone? with the same engine as the Ps3? THATS AMAZING. I WANT HAWX 2 MORE THAN THIS IF ITS TRUE.

Wow out at the end of November for 99 cents at 700 Mb or more. I think it would be cool if they released the entire game in like 4 parts rather than just making a small condensed game.
99 cents! Was not expect it to be cheap. And I hope it does get released at the end of Novemeber, although it could quite easily be pushed back to December.
Looks like they want to follow the COD Zombies model of one room gameplay, perhaps adding more levels as they go along. He's probably banking on the brand name to sell a few million copies and simultaneously work as ads for the console versions. I'm not convinced that that strategy actually works in reality though - it certainly didn't for Backbreaker. I'm similarly not convinced that EA Appstore games actually work as promotional for console versions, as opposed to being EA brands on different devices that would sell anyway (the Need For Speed appstore and console games rarely lineup in the calender and still sell well independently of the other) . Disappointed that they didn't try to push price borders more, this will only encourage the 99 cent rush at all cost mentality.
So this will be another on rail shooter well that dissapoints. At least free movement even in small areas would be great. Epic citadel was epic because you could move around even if there was no interaction, one could go to the next wall and glare at the bump maps of it.
