Most likely. I'm not quite sure though.

Can you make an assumption on how much memory this amazing game will take up when it is completed? Do you think 3.3g is enough space?

3G is way more than enough.

This could probably take up around 1.5gb, maybe 2gb max but that's just me speculating with my tiny 16gb capacity iphone

Well it is if the game is compressed... For example, mc3 needs about 3gigs to download & install but after it is done and its conpressed it shrinks down to around 1.7

Nova 3 needs around 4 gigs to install as well, and shrinks to 1.8

Horn uses almost 2GB, for reference.

As I understand it (this could be wrong), you need at least space to cover the download (which is compressed) AND the install (uncompressed). Once it's installed the compressed installer gets deleted.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct?

Horn (uncompressed) is 1.79GB. Make sense; while it lacks a lot of special effects seen in Infinity Blade II, the environments are much bigger, and it's full of high-quality audio files for voiceovers.

Can't confirm that, but I always thought its like this too. (its the same concept as on PC - of course the download file doesent get automatically erased).

Yes, that's the way it works. If you are concerned about space on your device, the best way is to download an app to your PC or Mac (assuming you have one of course) via iTunes, then sync it with your device. That way you don't need the extra space on your device for the compressed and installed files.

I can't help but to think what a boost this could get if it made it to the app store the week before the holiday lockdown. I have to think a game this huge would be featured on the front page of the app store and it would get an extra week of exposure...

Definitely. Aralon had amazing success 2 years ago even when it launched simultaneously with other big name games such as Real Racing 2 and World of Goo. If this can snatch the App of the Week spot as well, they should have no problem selling.
