Want! Just please don't cut things out over fear of the file size! Definitely just became the game I'm waiting for the most.
Just saw that you took ideas from the forum! Heres a bunch of ideas: 1) be like fallout 3 and oblivion :b Nah, just kidding, but really, learn from those games! They are the kings of the western RPG marked, and thats the marked your going to sell this app too. That, and Mass Effect 2) Don't copy Oblivion and Fallouts voice over! It would be pretty cool, but I don't want this to be a 4,7 GB app, and the time and money could be spend waaaaay better! 3) Fast travel please, and a world big enough to give it sense. When your testers are begging for a fast travel option, you know your game is massive! Just give that to them, and everything is great!
This looks really good! Just please, don't blow it. There is so much to work with here, judging from the screen shots. I really hope you guys put some effort into making sure the controls are perfect, and the game autosaves when you quit, and the game respects the status of the silent switch, and all of those other things that good iPhone games need...
Yes, yes and yes? How does that sound? Of course perfect in one's mind is not perfect in another, but I know what you mean.
cool When will it come out? Looks cool though definitely gonna keep my eye on this. Can you tell us what it's all about?
Honestly, I'd start warming up to the idea that most high-end 3D games are going to be this way in the future too. The 3GS has so much untapped power that developers are just now starting to realize for more things than just faster load times. If they can manage 15FPS+ on older devices, that's totally playable.
I have high hopes for the side quests. My favorite parts of Oblivion were going through the thieves, vampire, and assassin's guild quest lines. Those three sidequests made the main story look like ass in comparison.
OMG! It's got a boar! lol That means an instant purchase. Anyone know how well this will run on the original iPhone/ iPhone 3G. This might be the game that makes me upgrade to the 3GS.
The main story sucked in oblivion, but I still managed to drop hundreds of hours into that game... still not sure how that managed to happen
Haha, same here. Although, it was pretty poor game design to have the whole world level up with you making the main story line almost impossible to complete unless you finish it first. There actually were a lot of really bad things about Oblivion, but I still managed to waste a ton of time in it. Fallout 3 is kind of the same way for me, the game is so bad, but somehow I've managed to sink more hours than I'd even care to admit in to the game. Hopefully Ravensword is the same way.
Just saw the word "RPG". It's all I need to know All I read sounds great, so I hope the gameplay will be good as well Oh, in fact, I've a question : english language only or multi-languages for the texts ?
To date I still haven't finished the main quest. Never even worried about it. But I played many MANY hours just wandering around.
100% agreed. I don't understand why Bethesda failed to understand the basics of RPG gameplay. You certainly appreciate a challenge, but once your character reaches a certain level, you just want to kick ass. The enemy-leveling thing just killed the game for me. If Ravensword lives to its promise (as far as we can tell from the screenshots), it will clearly be a premium title. My hope is that the developers prices it accordingly -- I say $9.99 -- and keep it there for a while. I like a bargain as much as the next guy, but I also want to see the App Store become a viable marketplace for deeper, high-production-value games.
Looks like its going to be a big hit in the app store I hope that there will be a good world with different terrains.
