iPad [Removed from App Store] Wolfenstein RPG (by Electronic Arts)

I guess it's an iOS exclusive... I didn't know that. I checked Steam, Desura, GOG... Nothing

It's not iOS exclusive....

I played this years ago on my good old Sony Ericsson. It was definitely the best turn based rpg (besides "doom rpg" and "orcs and elves", of course).

I still remember kicking the chickens right into the bullseye! I loved that mini game

Wikipedia also tells me there is also a Doom 1 RPG that is now nowhere to be found but referenced in Doom II RPG. I assume Doom 1 RPG was never ported to iOS.

According to Wikipedia (haha) Wolfenstein RPG had a mobile phone port (I assume this is Android).

No it was definitely on iPhone. I had it years ago, and it was great. I wonder why it is no longer around.

 

Definitely not. Maybe you are confusing it with Doom II rpg. Doom rpg was only released for older phones.

 

Wolfenstein rpg was. I dont think anyone should argue about it.

Weird that this isn't available. I was fortunate enough to pick it up a long time ago on sale, and I just tested it. It works completely fine on iOS7. No reason aside from what we can assume are license issues for this to be off the store. It's the best of the iD RPG series, and I did play the first Doom RPG on my old Verizon Chocolate. Oh yeah.

anyone remember this game? Pulled out of the canadian appstore but it was a really decent title

Also pulled from the U.S. App Store. Thankfully, Doom II RPG is still available and just as awesome!

 

I seriously wish this was still available. What is the reasoning for pulling a game like this? Does it cost them to keep it listed? If not, why remove the potential of sales around anniversaries of the classic game, new releases of new iterations of Wolfenstein, etc.
