And please let's do continue on the topic of the game. There is another thread discussing the he said he said debate so let's keep this one on topic.
Alright, that's it - talk about the game or infractions are coming your way. Read the rules and it will be clear:
The post I made earlier was deleted, but it did not break either one of those rules, nor any other that I am aware of. Why is that?
Nah, it really wasn't. It was a pretty stand-alone question, I guess since it's directed towards one of the writers here that isn't cool? lol free speech
You signed away your right to free speech when you signed up for an account. Admins on forums tend to delete posts before stuff gets messy and people get offended although some tend to jump on stuff a bit early and spurn any kind of meaningful discussion. Back to the game, I hope their kickstarter makes it, thought its looking doubtful i must admit.
Like I said... where can we talk about 'gaf vs TA' stuff? Yeah, pretty sure this won't make it. I'm pretty sure it will still get made someday, but with a publisher = more creative constraint. ah well.
On a forum where endlessly perpetuating drama is encouraged. (i.e. Not this one.) Try GameFAQs? There might be an audience for that sort of thing there.
As someone who is a HUGE Metal Gear and Mass Effect fan, today I’m proud to reveal that David Hayter (freakin’ Solid Snake!) and Jennifer Hale (freakin’ all the women in all of videogames!) will lend their vocal talents to République. Hayter will play the role of the head revolutionary in the world of République, and Hale will voice the role of “The Mentor” – a complex character who knows Hope better than anyone. Having these two rock star voice actors reunite in République is incredible! For more details about this announcement, check out the video interviews Ryan and Victor Lucas did with both of them: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/486250632/republique-by-camouflaj-logan/posts/220041 Daaamn
So that's where a lot of that money is going! I'm sure they could've found someone just as good (though not as hype-building) for a lot less cost. I mean, look at Dark Meadow - that game has some of my favorite voice acting in all video games, not just iOS. Their actor was a teacher they randomly found that hadn't ever done voice acting before. Maybe it's just me, but I like hearing different voices in different games. That and I have no particular attachment to nostalgia...
well it seems more like ' I know people' than a lot of corporate handshakes. Hayter and Payton been doing stuff together for quite a while.
I saw that they need 500k$ for this project? It don't look well to me considering that they have yet to hit half of tat amount
