When I first saw the title "Revolt", I thought it was that game with the radio controlled cars also called Revolt. But this game looks awesome. Definitely will check this out. Greetings, Soxbrother
I thought the same...But now is saw a far better game. This game could make a big hype....Do not you have plans for multiplayer(online+local) if it sells well? Please work hard and fast, I want the game right now ;-)
Do not let the appstore economy effect ur game pricing... if it is good & will sell well! Example? Chinatown GTA, Rolandos (alas, R3 was stoppd)
Thanks for all the comments guys. I've worked long and tirelessly on the game and its great to get such positive feedback!
Not really sure about multiplayer as it would be pretty involved with the way the code is setup, but if it the game sells well and the fans want multiplayer we'd seriously look into doing it. If you could just tell all your friends about the game and tell them to tell their friends to tell their friends to tell their....(to infinity) I'm sure there'd be plenty of development budget to get it done!
The game looks great! It's really good to see a developer take the time to optimize their assets, so everyone can enjoy the product. I also love your blog. Lots of good info there (very "old sk00l" PS1-type stuff you're doing). Can't wait till it comes out.
this is gonna be so sweet!!! however the name of the game keeps reminding me of that RC racing game on N64.
wow! never knew about this until i accidentally clicked on this thread it really looks good it's basically Minigore or Guerilla Bob but in a more mature way
Hopefully it won't fail like Guerilla Bob, Everyone thought it was the second coming of Christ, only to realize about half a day later that it was only a picture of Christ sticky-taped to an average guy's face. Hopefully it's not like that. Although I'm not sure that it will have the same draw as Minigore (still my favourite twin-stick shooter). Minigore is like one of the Popcap games. You don't know why they're so great/addictive/whatever, but they are. I think one thing that held Guerilla Bob back was the controls, which actually look very good in this game. /rant Looks like a good game so far, keep up the good work
This is a Guerrilla Bob killer. . Nice work, I'll be picking this up on release, and if you need any testers post here of course Only thing is that weapons DON'T have unlimited ammo, if you play MiniGore and Guerrilla Bob they went the unlimited way, why did you choose to have a set ammo amount? Would you change it due to popular demand?
I for one LIKE the idea of limited ammo, if makes weapon management much more interesting ASSUMING they make switching weapons easy enough.
