WaxHero, I'm not sure if I like that name. It sounds as if you want it to be close to Guitar hero (Hero) and had to add something before it. Please explain the name...
djhero, waxhero wax=record=dj plus the domain was open which is a big selling point on a name. there are probably cooler names but its so similar to djhero(which this game is basically trying to recreate on iphone)
better? not sure.. scratchhero.com is taken and the game isnt all about scratching as its more about djing. vinylhero.com is not taken but it is also not as smooth off the tongue as wax, as vinyl itself is 2 syllables and the game really isnt about vinyl as its digital. but the same could be said about "wax" not being accurate to a digital djing game .
Then I hot some more suggestions because Wax doesn't remind ANYONE of DJs, sorry. And always listen to gamers, devs own decisions on names or icons are always different than ours. - something with Portable in it. - Scratch it or Scratchit - The way of a DJ (I'm just suggesting.) - DJ Portable I'll try to get some ideas.
I like WaxHero... it doesn't remind me of DJs, but... that's good. I hate all these iPhone games with stupidly generic and obvious names, get creative with it!
Waxhero sounds more interesting and unique than any of these in my opinion, i think its a good name. You want a name that will stick out not blend in with everything else.
As long as you got a nice icon which shows some of the game's suspects, WaxHero would also be an option.
