I like the art and I love turn-based rpgs. I loved Undercroft and the fact that you can fully customize your party. I finished it and now I'm currently playing Quest and having a blast. I've already got all the expansions and am excited to play them all. I got sick of quick games that seem to be way too repetitive.

And I think it's great how rpgs are popping up all around.

Very impressive, I love the art style. Growing up on comic books it hits that nostalgic place in my gut.

Our website providers servers were down due to technical problems (great timing, eh?), but should be working now.

Also, I'm planning a bit more in depth blog post about the game, if there's anything you want to know please ask and I'll try to address the questions in the post.

There'll be a new screenshot or concept art too :)

    looks interesting!
i hope it will have a very deep and good storyline
what i love with turn-based RPGs like Chrono Cross and Suikoden is the story ;)

It's interesting that people keep mentioning Dungeon Seige. When I first saw the screenshot of the gameplay, I immediately thought of Warcraft 3. Artwork looks very nice, both gameplay and background story. The story actually reminds me a bit of Fallout.

Anyway, definitely intrigued with this. I've been wanting an isometric RPG with turn-based elements. My personal favorite is Baldur's Gate - I love party based RPGs, so i was a bit disappointed to hear this is single player. However, I've enjoyed single player ones too (Fargoal on iphone and Eschalon (http://basiliskgames.com/) on the Mac a year or two ago), so I'm sure I'll like this.

Just rest your head between your knees for a couple minutes and you'll feel better. It increases the blood flow to your head.

OK, so here are my questions:

How will you make combat interesting and varied with just 1 character?

How will you handle the controls? Will there be touch-only controls? I mean, with turn-based combat the D-pad isn't really needed...

How important is the story and how much dialog can we expect? Maybe some non-combat solutions to quests? Is the tone more serious or more humorous?

How is exploration handled? Will there be puzzles?

BTW, I like those screens. A definite Nausicaa vibe indeed...

They're in the first post, but due to technical troubles with our web server (to which the images link to), they have not been visible at all times. They seem to be online currently (hopefully the problems have been solved now).

Edit: No, they're still sporadically down.

Thanks for the update. With inspiration from Laputa and Nausicaa, it's difficult to see how this could fail. Love the detail in the new screenshot.

Nice stuff. Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun and screens look polished. This game also reminds me of another Rogue-like game that was supposed to come out (or maybe already did?) around now-ish. It was more top down view I think. I can't remember the name - anyone?

[edit] 100 Rogues was the name - it isn't out yet is it?

Aggh, you got me interested! So how many hours of gameplay can we expect? :p

Inspiration from Laputa makes me feel as if this could be similiar to Grandia and that could never go wrong from my point of view. :D

Off-topic: Grandia is coming to PSN as a PS One Classic. From your comment, I assume it's worth picking up...
