Q: "How many new stunts and hydro jets have you added to Riptide GP 2?" A: "There are 9 completely new hydro jets, all higher resolution with customizable paint colors. There are also 25 stunts. We kept the original 6 stunts from the first game, and added others that you can upgrade to when you earn enough skill points. You get skill points by winning races and leveling up. Also the animations, rider models, and hydro jet models are all completely redone (by Timm) and they look a lot better!" 2. Q: "Will there be IAP in gp2?" A: "Yes, at launch there will be in-game currency IAPs, but the game is designed/tuned to be played without needing to do any IAPs." 3. Q: "How large in mb is riptide 2?" A: "Riptide GP2 clocks in at just under 48MB. We actually did a ton of optimizations on it to get it down that small, because we know people hate downloading extra data packages. (We hate that too). But the game is actually way longer and has tons more content than RGP1. It's computer magic."
This is what they wrote on FB in comments: "Yeah it just takes some extra time to get approval from Apple" We knew it was coming this month, but I was really looking forward for official release date. No biggie
Perhaps Riptide GP 2 has already been approved and the game will be out on 7/25 or 8/1 for IOS. Just saying... Or perhaps not.

Hey, I've been an iOS gamer much longer than Android. And I still play my iPhone more than my Nexus 7 -- due to the fact that there's just way more iOS exclusives. So, give Android some slack and let 'me have a release a little early. It might even give me a chance to use my tablet for once .
48mb it is... Wait what?!?! My iPhone is overjoyed that it isn't necessary to kick some apps to add this awesome game, can't wait for the release!
NP. I wasn't really offended. Just poking fun back. Posted on the Android forum, but for those that do have a 'droid, it's out. As also mentioned there, I haven't played it yet but it seems heavy on IAPs all the way to $100. Hopefully, that doesn't effect the game's balance. When I get a chance to play (unfortunately at work), I'll post impressions over in the Android section.
anyone know will it play on ipod touch 4G when it comes out this thurs.? or will i have to wait and see
