Keep an eye on this thread for details on the release and how you can get promo codes at launch .
Thanks, that's a great game. Roider is a much faster paced and intense game with everything in motion as you fly through space and with great rope physics on the harpoons. It's quite unique for the platform, but perfectly suits it. After rigourous testing, our 4th release candidate build was submitted just hours ago. Roider Tip: The goal in Roider is to harpoon and successfully pull precious minerals into your ship. The larger regular asteroids can knock minerals out of your harpoon, so it's important to use other harpoons to destroy asteroids before they hit minerals you're reeling in. Power Ups: There are 4 unique Power Ups in Roider that you can grab out of space. These will temporarily change how the harpoon that grabbed them works. FAST - Increases the outgoing speed of your harpoon PENETRATE - Your harpoon will smash through asteroids and keep on going SLOW - Dramatically decreases the outgoing speed of your harpoon SEISMIC - Creates a Seismic Blast every time the harpoon has a collision A Seismic Blast in action. Destroys all non-precious asteroids it touches. We'll have details on how you can get promo codes for Roider in this thread very soon.
Looks like a more interesting take on the Gold Miner/Fishing deals already out there via the more realistic looking physics. Is there something to matching up the color of the harpoons to the minerals being drug in?
The harpoon colors are simply to help the user differentiate between them. The mineral colors signify their worth. Mineral Colors: Silver - The most common mineral. Worth the least. Yellow - A slightly rarer mineral. Worth a healthy amount. Purple - Less common and more rare. These will keep you in business. Blue - The rarest and most valuable mineral. This will fill your quota bar entirely. Roider Tip: Your ships computer will calculate an intercept point between any passing Minerals and the selected harpoon. This shows as a crosshair target on the screen that is the same color as the selected harpoon. Tap that intercept point and your harpoon won't miss. Reeling in a Silver Mineral. Another Silver Mineral and a Purple Mineral are passing and their intercept crosshairs are displayed.
