Level 8 where the Cyclops are is actually fairly easy for me. You just need the right formation for the cyclops. Finished Level 8 with 2 stars. Btw, I found the Boss King in Level 5 easy right now. Since it has an attack pattern which doesn't change. Hope it will change in the final build. Thanks.
Below, the dialog box should move down a bit in order to read the character info.......already beat the boss in lvl 5...phew! this tree guy is powerful with the branches --- just upgrade it wont let you down ...(shot from my iPhone 4)..
Oh, that would be a big oops. The game has been submitted to the App Store with that Pun Tree text cropped. It's not cropped on the iPad at least. Edit: If you really want to use a powerful character, try leveling up the Ninja.
This looks awesome. It sounds like you are close to submitting Retro64, any chance on an ETA? Thanks in advance!
We have submitted, and it will go live on February 16th. We're still working on the trailer and other marketing stuff. We set up a Facebook page as well, to announce: https://www.facebook.com/Retro64Inc So far, a whopping 4 likes
Great to hear, thanks for the heads up! Hopefully I can actually buy it without any problems, haven't had much luck recently.
Hmmmm, wonder what happened? Its not on the AppStore yet. And they haven't replied back. Was so looking forward to this after all the beta-testers impressions and comments.
Hey, sorry guys.... It's submitted and approved, but I have to wait on some marketing stuff before I can push the button to make it live. It's excruciating, but I have to make sure the biz end of things is on target. The good news is I was able to make some minor tweaks and improvements- like making sure you can't buy a better perk before the inferior one. -Mike
Dev environment? Retro64, this looks fantastic! Do you mind if I ask what tools or language you used to develop this? Is it just being ported to iOS or other platforms also?
I will know more about an ETA on tuesday, but it won't be this week. For development, Rune Raiders was originally supposed to be a flash game written in Actionscript 3. But, when I decided to make it an iPhone game instead, I completely rewrote it in a language called haXe. You can check it out at http://haxenme.org. It gets translated into a C++ project that I then compile in Xcode. There were definitely some growing pains along the way, but it worked well in the end.
The BETA is done...the game is pretty good, i think the maker need to convert into a specific code to fit into iOS requirement. Just pray and it will done!...
