The "R" is the best of the three icons!

 

The crow looks the best IMO but they're all cool.

 

Unicorn sounds good. Or Griffin. Fly over the rock wall obstacles? Just bouncing ideas for you to consider! I'm sure you can include them across several updates!

Other games usually feature the new character on their update icons; what's the 2nd icon?

IMHO, i like ALL 3. You could use them across the updates. Is the last icon a partial Viking Skull? How about a FULL Viking Skull (cos that will be most awesome!)? But if i have to choose between the current three, it'll be the Crow too (but is there a Crow character currently in the game? How about a new "Crow-man" character?).

So what happens when...

You maxed out every single hero through their 6 available upgrades and you have so much money left? Playing Survival? It only rewards me with more money I can not spend on anything else.. Would be fun to "purchase" (with in-game money only please) further cool characters! It's a shame a game like this finds an end... Loved it very much! Thank you toucharcade!

Ps. For people that love it, are there other similar games in the same style? I enjoy this strategic thinking and not just hack'n'slash genre like this game shows here!

What are the requirements to get three stars in levels?

 

I bought the game at launch price and have no issues with what I paid, I think it was worth it, regardless of changes after the fact.

I do think the game is too short, though the survival mode makes up for it a bit. All I want from an update is more of the same - more levels, more room for character advancement, more characters...

 

I think you need no characters dead, and to finish in less than some threshold number of turns (that varies by level?).

 

That is exactly correct. I am considering revealing that number in 1.03

 

We're going to keep adding to it, 5 levels at a time.

How long does it takes for updates to pass by apple?

 

We may adjust the scoring for survival in 1.03, along with the other improvements. Most likely, we will go to kills and reset the game center leader board.

Also, the time Apple takes to approve an update is usually one week. We submitted 1.02 exactly one week ago and no approval as of yet. I really hope it's tomorrow.

This game is just amazing....I don't know why I enjoy it so much even after I beat it.

 

1.02 is now available with a fix for the survival mode bug. We're already working on 1.03 which will add content.
