Hello! Yep, Seabeard will be online only - we put a *lot* of thought into this. There are some big features that we wanted to launch with (seamless cross-device play, item trading, social visiting) and a bunch of ideas that we'd like to add further down the line - all of which will require online play. We felt it was better to launch with online only than to force online only in a future release (which would only annoy our players).
This game about summons up everything I've been looking for in an iOS game. Loved Zelda, and animal crossing. Curious as to how the real time weather and such play in to the game. They should make it so that the game requests to be hooked up to the Apple weather app.
Ehh, I'd rather that not happen. What if, say, you live somewhere where it always snows? Then you're stuck with nonstop snowy weather in the game.
before a wifi router there were routers that existed where you just plug in your cable in the router and in a telephonecable and one cable in the usb and you had internet. Perhaps before your time, depends on how old you are... besides games that need constant internet connection just drain your battery.
I'll certainly try this and of course I prefer most games to have online aspects and not entirely be based online in most cases as those are usuly timer based games these days. I have poor wifi out in the middle of nowhere if it doesn't need to be an amazing connection I may be ok. Angry Birds Epic requires a connection but just freezes when my connection drops or goes slow and then resumes from where I was once it's live again. How will it work here? Some games just boot you off completely.
Yeah. They "hint" at the summer. That could be late June/Early July if we are lucky. Either way, I'm excited to play this and Castaway Paradise.
