My one gripe with the game. Please swap the placement of Quit and Resume, I've quit the game damn near 5 times by accident lol. People need to stop texting me!
This game is crashing a ton for me on my iPad 1(non jail broken). It seems to happen a lot after I collect one of the secret skulls. Crashes in this game are very frustrating because you can lose a decent amount of progress. I've almost finished the game. I have to admit this is easily the best game of it's type on the app store(that's not saying much) but I still think it's just a generic shooter. The enemies have really stupid AI and follow very predictable patterns. The lack of close combat can make for some pretty dumb moments when you are right next to the enemy. What it comes down to for me is that the game doesn't make use of the unique abilities of the iPad, but rather does an adequate(but not great) job of mimicking a console experience. For me, this doesn't translate to an amazing experience as a lot of people are saying. The game shows a lot of promise for what iOS can do, but I just don't see it as an amazing experience as many others do. I do not hate the game, I just wouldn't call it one of the best I've played.
I just... did. Ran away like a little girl, shooting the targets up high as I went past them. @caltab I agree with you on the lack of melds, but disagree on the AI - I found them to be pretty smart, but somewhat restricted in the sections with more linear cover design. I know the game has flaws, but they're so buried behind shooting a guy in the face with a shotgun from behind cover that they're not even important.
yeah, try that several times. pick up keycard, make it passed targets, shoot targets, Driller just keeps coming through. ??? bug ???
This game is fantastic! Few grammatical errors in the subtitles, but aside from that, I'm loving the game!!
The game is crashing a ton for me now since the 7th level, I would say around 10 times since level 7. I am on the last battle I think and the game has crashed around 5 times at this section alone, its pretty much unplayable for me at this point
How many levels are there in the game? How many hours of game play? Is there any coop multiplayer mode, if not any plans. Is this game on rails and has scripted events or do they change? What are the plans for adding content. Does this game work on IOS 5? How does this game compare to games like Quake or Unreal. Does this game work well on iPad 1 and what do the graphics look like any videos on iPad 1? This game looks like a winner and proves that console/PC games can be played on a IOS device.
I just took the plunge. Only able to play a minute of the game. So far it's the best third person shooter on the iOS platform.
