Beat the game and still keep returning. This reminds me of the simple fun I had with the first Gears of War. Simple pure cover-shoot-over-surprise fun! Madfinger - I forgive you for the bugs. This game is fun and really has raised the bar for iOS-shooters. Ow and a 8/10 here from Denmark ...grats. http://www.gamereactor.dk/anmeldelser/86170/Shadowgun/
"gamereactor.dk" Gamereactor is one the biggest multiplatform magasines/sites in the nordic, awesome.
So "real" guny play = Stick your head out from behind a rock, shoot abit (even if nothing is there), return to hiding behind your rock?
Well, it´s a video game so "real-iiiish". Mmkay? BTW, why are you shooting if nothings there? Edit: Actually on another note, you described "real" guncombat pretty well there.
No, that's how the enemys behave. When they've done that a few times they walk (reeeeeeeally slowly and right in your line of fire) to the piece of cover you'te hiding behind, only to get a round of shotgun fire to the face. And the process repeats.
Der-Kleine: Yea i have´nt really seen any running enemies yet etc. Maybe something Madfinger could implement in a future update. Or ShadowGun 2.
Also, has anyone noticed how atleast the first enemy you ever encounter in the game only has an animation for walking forward? It looks kind of weird sometimes.
Der-Kleine Chris has a really good point. In a "real" gunfight you do exactly what you said which was stick your head out from behind some object, shoot a bit, and then hide behind the object. What you want is some type of fake gun fight. They only walk slow when they don't see you because you are hiding and not coming out. Otherwise they jog around trying to get as close to you as possible if they see you and are not getting shot. But please, describe exactly how they should behave in your mind.
Update patch just came out. *Fixed crashing on ipad 2 *Fixed problem in level 4 (driller) *Optimized memory for low memory devices. Surprised that only took 11 hours from when it was submitted.
Nice, I hope that people don't experience any other serious problems! Also, It looks like that TA review is even less accurate now.
John Slade doesn't look like Bruce Willis. It just happens that both are bald. By that logic, my dad looks like Bruce Willis. And trust me -- he doesn't.
He does. Look closely at his face when he's taking cover. Looks just like Bruce Willis in "Pulp Fiction".
