The big question is: How long will we have to wait until there is multiplayer? In half a year hardly anyone will care about the game anyway.
Onlookers watching me play this questioned: "Is that Gears of War?" I love it when I'm playing a game that amazing on my telephone. Technology is the most amazing thing and I embrace it fully.
I think it's time we hold hands and sing "we shall overcome". Hodapp light some candles, squarezero start singing!!!!
Great question. Madfinger....Do you guys have a target date as to when multiplayer will be implemented?
I've got to say, I really enjoyed the game, and had no crashes or technical issues whatsoever on the original iPad. I won't say that Touch Arcade are 'wrong' on this one because that is clearly pointless. What I will say though, is that their arrogance and sheer venom towards this game and the developer is hard to fathom. Let's look at the hard facts Out of 66 ratings, here are the scores for ShadowGun on the UK app store ★★★★★ 42 ★★★★ 13 ★★★ 5 ★★ 1 ★ 5 I would say that is a pretty good score and a fair summary of the true feelings towards the game. This game is a class act and I just want to give kudos to the developers for all their hard work. And for those who are still sitting on the fence and haven't bought the game yet - don't believe the anti-hype.
Here are the current review ratings for all of the versions in the US AppStore. ★★★★★ 247 ★★★★ 33 ★★★ 22 ★★ 13 ★ 23 If you total up all of the non 5 star reviews, they still don't even equal half of the 5 star reviews. Even with the crashes, this game is obviously good because most of the lower ratings are due to crashing, not poor gameplay. Good job MADFINGERGames, you made another good game , even if some people can't tell how good it is.
It crashed SO much at one point, I asked Apple for my money back. Does it look gorgeous? Yes. But with a pricetag like that and an iPad2 that I had to RESTORE the last time it crashed: no thank you. Next!
Obvious overreaction is obvious. I highly doubt an app from the AppStore that crashes would result in a needed restore.
Why would you have to restore your device just because of a crashing app? Edit: posted the same time as AmpliHelix. That's exactly what I was thinking. He just wants to get in on the complaining.
After my first attempt to open the big door that would take me to the gauntlet of rocks/baddies/green acid leading to the key/driller, I'm asked to restore the power nodes. After accomplishing that task, when I restore the power to the door being opened, the screen goes black saying that I finished the level and "tap to continue". Once I did that, I'm brought IMMEDIATELY in front of the key that when grabbed launches the driller. IOW, the whole gauntlet LEADING UP TO the key/driller sequence disappeared. Additionally, I still end up dying after the driller is released when I run up to the opposing twin turbines in my attempt to shoot the first target.
alright, you can keep listening to "so fun!" or "I'd rather rip my eyes out!"... IMO, VERY dismissible When people don't actually give impressions or expand on "so fun" or "buy this now!" - what's the point... and most of them are bought off with promo codes or are trying to win a gift card for a review... so yeah... I don't pay attention to iTunes reviews...
