Awesome! This is one of my all time top ten favorites for iOS games. The fact that it keeps getting free updates is pure icing.

I haven't dug into the update yet. Planning to start a new playthrough tonight. Looking forward to it!

^yeah. forgot how awesome this game is,glad the update came along ang made me install this again.

One of the great Puzzle-Adventure games on iOS hands down. The exploration and puzzles, along with great visuals and audio which make up for one beautiful atmosphere, are this games strongest features. Even the controls work perfectly here.

Dont really have anything bad to say for this one.

Hot damn! Update looks awesome! Now the hard part...finding room on my device for it. Asphalt 8 already caused some rather painful deletions :(

Sweet!!! Glad I cleared up 12 gigs...because this one's never leaving my iPad ever again. :)

    Hi guys!

Great to hear you're excited about the update! We are still working on a new trailer for the Director's Cut which is why we haven't yet contacted any review sites about it. Hopefully some of them would consider writing a review about the game with all the changes that have been done since the initial launch.

Anyway, the changes that were introduced in the Director's Cut update are:
    • Updated graphics (Though maybe most won't really notice :))
    • New gameplay element: hideout (place to hide from the enemies)
    • New gameplay element: trap door (similar to the falling tiles but can be reset etc.)
    • New enemy type: crawler (easy to kill but can surprise you)
    • Indie mode (gives the game a retro look)
    • Some new sound effects
    • All old levels have been refreshed with more things to do, both updated and all-new puzzles and other surprises

Started playing through this again as I loved it last year, but those new crawler enemies are really getting on my nerves. The other enemies have a purpose - you have to work out how to defeat them or evade them - but these new ones seem to exist solely to annoy.

Gonna try to persevere and check out the new puzzles, but enjoying it less this time round at the moment.

Sorry to hear that. I admit their purpose is to add a little bit of excitement to the otherwise slightly dull walking around. But I thought they wouldn't be a huge annoyance since they are so easy to kill. I just hope everyone has realised that they're killed with a single tap :) (as well as with many of the old means of killing an enemy, except lasers and fireballs)

^personally i like their inclusion in the game. They do break the dull moments of walking around as they give something extra to do, without stealing much attention from the game's exploration and puzzles.

QFT. It's also another one of those "only possible on touchscreens" mechanics.

    Maine!
    Playing through... AGAIN.

I'm honestly not sure if this one will ever leave my phone, although I am anxious to see how it flies on a newer iPad (soon... very soon.).

Makes me remember what it used to be like when I could buy a "Premium" game and just play it. *Sigh*

If there is anyone who hasn't got this yet and likes puzzles, great atmospherics, beautiful visuals and soundtracks, you really should pick this up...

BTW, if the devs are still around, I LOVE the "hideouts," trapdoors, and crawlers! ;)

Having two kids is the reason I don't spend as much time playing Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon or Assassins Creed on my 360. Thanks to developers like yourselves I can still play quality titles in bite sized chunks. I don't have to resort to Call Of Zombie Ninja Casino Slots. This is the reason why games ARE art. I will be anxiously awaiting your new first person title.
