    It's been quiet...

Anyway.. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I collected all the ingredients and missed the top bun and there was this crowd like "OHH!" like what they say when something's about to fall, you'll know what I mean

Hey guys, this is Ian's brother and partner in crime for Sky Burger. I thought I should register for the forums and show up since Ian is out of town.

I am eager to hear first impressions! :D

Is that music made from Leaf Trombone (by Smule)? Anyway, this game looks pretty cool, then again all of Ian Marsh's games are good. I'm going to d/l this now.

Awesome! I still love the crowd going "Ohh!" when you miss the top bun after you've gotten everything else, I'm at stage 5, I suck at these games, but it's soo fun!

It's like Scoops, BUT with way better graphics, and an objective. I can't wait to get this!!

Oh okay thanks for the info. LOL it kind of sounded like Leaf Trombone, but I didn't consider that this game has been in production for a while and that just came out.

OK, I just played for quite a bit, my score is like $385 so far. This game is really really fun. It's like someone else said, it's Scoops with a goal. You feel like you are accomplishing something rather than just seeing how high you can go. The burger names have been great so far (Kyperger, lol) and it's challenging but not frustratingly so.

The tilt controls are flawless, better than Kyper and Scoops. The music is nice and relaxing, it's not obtrusive and in your face, it's a perfect background song, nice and ambient. These are the games I like, a nice quick pick up and play with a simple goal. It's fun, challenging and it's convenient, I can play for 5-10 minutes or an hour.

I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars.

1.If you listen to the instrument, it's a guitar not a trombone
2.Yes.. I do agree with you that the song in that video is very very similar

Scoops is more aimless, you just try to get the highest score
This game you have to get certain amounts of certain ingredients, I think it's kinda cheap and unoriginal but it works ^^

There is a lot more gameplay added into Sky Burger compared to scoops. Scoops is just a one-time stacking game, where Sky Burger has

    • career mode
    • persistent score/stats
    • difficulty adjusting levels
    • build-to-order, this changes the game play a lot
    • ingredient scoring system with tip
    • wild "Sky Burger" mode
    • many other elements of polish
