So... Tiny Towers in a Medieval settings with magic? Don't get me wrong, it's good if you can differentiate yourself and make your game special if implemented properly. Looking forward to this.
Cool! I hate everything about games like Tiny Towers, but IMO your game seems quite different. If this isn't a freemium, IAP riddled mess, I'll definitely be checking it out. It sucks that ppl on iOS are so quick to compare games.
After taking another look at the screenshot, I think the dragons legs and tail needs to be bigger, because they seem small compared to the head. Also, are there different types if dragons or more added later in updates?
We haven't figured out the pricing for this game yet. I just added a poll to this thread to collect TA member's opinions on this subject.
How much I'm willing to pay depends on how fun the game looks (ie. I'd like to see the gameplay video first), and how much the game revolves around IAP. It's really annoying that it's becoming a trend to basically release "freemium" games with a paid price hoping to sucker a few purchases before dropping it to free later. Assuming the game looks good and there's no IAPs, then I'd easily be willing to pay $2+.
*Haven't voted yet* I'll easily pay $2 if there's GC achievements. I'd also like for there to be a 'increase attacks on castle' setting to make this feel more tactical RPG-ish. I'll only be willing to pay a buck if there's a lack of GC because I've been trying to be strict about this rule--keyword trying. I've unfortunately bought 5 games so far this year that don't have it. If it's freemium I'll more than likely pass unless there's an unlock the game IAP that unlocks all the grind BS and focuses on gameplay and the normal grind--not it takes 24 hours of fully dedicated time to get 1 item grind.
I voted for $.99, because even though I love the art style, I'm not sure would this be something I'd buy. But if it's close to Mega Mall Story(which it looks like), I'd gladly throw a little extra on it.
Not any more word on this? Would really like to play it or at least se it in action in some sort o vid
