This is so much better than the pc version. I mean seriously, YOU CAN PLAY AS ENVIROBEAR!!!

Anyway it also has much more than the pc version. I feel it is more than worth it.

 

Looks as crazy as Enviro-Bear Getting it now.

So for the people that like it, what makes it fun?

I don't have a problem with the look but the play mechanics don't look great, especially going up some of the hills.

That's precisely what I've been trying to figure out as well. The front page review provides no insight either. I suspect, the reason it is so difficult to get an answer is because one doesn't exist.

Don't dare utter a word about the emperor's butt showing though, or you'll likely be stoned by the "believers."

I just read the review and I guess I don't get it, so I won't try. The quote below from the review really throws me off.


"The controls and gameplay seem to be intentionally bad"

 

I personally disagree with this statement. You would be surprised how much depth this game has figuring out the physics, collisions, and food rationing. The iphone version seems a huge improvement over the pc version and playing that version would only show how the driving physics works.

 

I agree here. The controls aren't bad, they are just challenging. If they were easy and your car/wagon simply followed the hills perfectly, it wouldnt be any fun.

You get so many cool points for posting the coolest cat ever.

If you want to quantify why it's fun... one thing is, I find it very satisfying trying to land well. Sort of like Excite Bike, but way more extreme. It's a horrendous, but really fun, nightmare navigating over those hills The whole thing just has a great vibe.

Trying to say that people who like it are "believers" worhsipping a naked emperor is a bit odd IMO... it's a $2 iphone game dudes.

I made it to El Dorado but accidentally jumped right over it and off the cliff

I forgot to mention this- i've been getting some crash/freeze issues. It only ever happens at a gameover or the end of the game. It is not affecting gameplay. I just exit and restart.

I found that odd too because I made it to El Dorado yet I have not been ranked.

Did you go to El Dorado and go back to Independance?

 

Yeah, I found a city made of solid gold and I left it because there might be something better.
