Made a couple more discoveries. I've been playing "Scenic Route" mode, I haven't been able to make it all the way back yet, but I made it to el dorado and then halfway back. I discovered carlos, the mexican dude who joins your team... I was offered tequila at a store, which makes your cart look super festive, and gives your ox a sombrero. And I was attacked by the chupacabra, I shot it 30 times and it wouldn't die... If it hits your wagon, it steals(aka instantly kills) a family member. Also had "You discover a sick indian tribe. They give you 5 bullets." I loled.
I would say yes. I bought the game last night and didn't see the icon as I don't use openfeit (hate all of em, and waiting for game center) but I enabled it today and can now use the enviro bear cruiser woot...

Yes you can! Did you mean to say: top right? Connecting to OF didn't do it. I had to close and reopen the app. So far I'd have to say that the game seems both easier and more difficult than the PC version. It has a lot more to it though, I'm enjoying it so far. Worth it just for the music alone!
Downloaded this like, five minutes ago, enabled OF, and the icon showed up immediately. FWIW. Edit: I rebooted immediately after install (as I always do). That wouldn't affect OF one way or the other, would it?
It should be right where it's show on the screenshot a couple of posts above, the green button with the Ox in it in the upper right. If you've turned on Open Feint and it's still not showing up there, I'm not sure what's up.
Shouldn't - except for available RAM. I haven't rebooted in a couple of weeks, but run MemoryInfo anytime I run a large game (Eustrath) or if something crashes. (So far, So Long, Oregon! has crashed a few times on me, including the first time I made it to El Dorado! At least I got the OF achievement ) So far I like to think of this as a roguelike - the get the [item] and return to [the surface, usually] formula fits this game like a glove. Now if we could only get some ASCII family members / animals!
bought the game a few days ago. love it. i think people have mentioned problems with openfeint before? well, i got those (blank screen at launch) i just play with wifi off. the game also freezes when all the passengers die sometimes. any word of an update?
Ok for anyone who has made to el derado and back, when you go to the main menu there is your gold count in the bottom left. Click on the golden statue and three boxes open up letting you "wager"? Gold for what? I can't figure out the purpose of this.
Ok but there's 3 boxes... So what does putting money in box 1 do over box 3?... And does this only pertain to the race in the challenge mode? Or is this for the main game..? I'm so confused, but I love this game!
