Space Hulk (Games Workshop)

I wasn't that impressed by the PC version to be honest, but I played it for really a brief time and long ago...since then patches and DLCs were published.
Anyone familiar with the actual PC version who is willing to endorse the purchase?

 

Can't wait to pick this up next week, this is a nice early christmas present.

Impression and overview of the PC version, which seems quite negative.

 

Yeah, as far as I heard, the first impressions for the PC version have been somewhat negative. But since then the game has been patched several times and improved an lot. You can see the patches here on this steamcommunity-page. It´s quite a list!

So, I think that many of the flaws of the PC version have been ironed out in the mean time. The iOS version will be in much better shape than PC version at release. At least I hope... ;-)

 

Sounds like a large improvement.

 

There are many impressions for Space Hulk as far as I know 50% love it and 50% would have wanted it to be different. The game is constantly being improved and new fixes/tweaks/features are added

 

Shoulder cam will only be for the 4 and Air and they are the only devices that can handle it.

 

Total Hailbut slagged the port of Space Hulk for being too board gamey, but that is exactly why I will buy it. I just want the board game with AI opponents.

You left out the retina Mini, which is an underclocked Air.

If it's underclocked, then it still might not be able to handle the shoulder cam...

 

1.3GHz versus 1.4GHz is probably insignificant...

 

True, unless it requires 1.4 to be at all playable, which probably isn't the case here.

 

As far as I'm hearing the iPad Mini Retina should also be able to run it

 

Anybody know what the installed size will be? I need to know how much space I'm going to have to clear.

 

About the same size as XCOM...2 GB dl and 3-3,5 GB installed

 

Thanks, I'm going to have to do some serious clearing out if this IAP's going to fit (which it must)
