I can guarantee that Space Miner is better than a $5 HJ from a homeless guy. (Don't ask how I know -- I just do.)

How about that for an App Store quote?

    Alien Tech question

Question for the Completionists out there (very minor spoilers?):

So, you clearly need to play through three times to get all the alien tech. Does that mean one time at each difficulty level, or can you replay at the same difficulty level to get more tech? I definitely got better tech on Hard than on Normal, but hardcOre frightens me...

Heh, I was wondering the same... I'm about 4 hours into Normal now, gonna try Harcore out after.

Nope, alien tech is completely randomized and you get it no matter what level you play at.

Sorry, I missed this. Is HJ what I think you're talking about? If you're comparing this to Space Miner, SM beats this by a mile...bad choice of words I know.

    Game Impressions

We all forget that the Touch Arcade forums are a good week or two ahead of the mainstream gaming/ iPhone gaming systems.

I predict in a few weeks this will be featured by Apple and also get at least a 8.0 review by IGN.

I recall the same advance acclaim and popularity for Spider at Bryce Mansion on Touch Arcade before the mainstream caught on.

This really is a great game and it really does suck you in and make you want to keep playing.

The story dialogue is truly very funny. This is a great game overall and I would agree one of the best iPhone games to date!!

I haven't encountered any performance issues on my 3G or at least that I notice now.

Jarek, regarding these 2000 copies, he said "that day" or "yesterday"... ;)

But I hope for them they already sold 10.000 copies - if not, then soon!

Touching can be a bit, well, touchy sometimes. Working on that for the update. Make sure your ship isn't too close and it should register, and you'll see a downloading bar appear.

don't be moving while touching it. Don't move after touching it until the download is complete.
