The last Space Shuttle game I played was by Activision for the Atari 5200. (yes I still have it). Can I BLOW IT UP on take off? Have to repair it once its in space? (fix the tile with a crane arm game) And bring it through re-entry with or without BLOWING IT UP!!! . HINT: I want to blow up the space shuttle and see it split into a ball of fire if I don't play the game right. Now that would be COOL! Too soon? I am interested in how they're going to handle failure in the game. I think the two space shuttle explosions are still recent enough that people might be sensitive about them.
Too soon? I would hope not. Every action has a consequence and luckily, the space shuttle is NOT a political figure. So I think Blowing the shuttle up would be OK. Accelerometer control of steering on take off.... Knowing when to release the tanks... Making mistakes with the shuttle has consequences. I'm sure in the trainer at NASA, they have consequences. For the Developer: NASA was at GDC and has Free stuff you can use in games. They were handing out cards and pins. It may be worth it to get them involved. The License is FREE!!! All the 14 year olds in the house rt now, about 4 of them, want to blow up the shuttle if they screw up. Make that 5! ;-) Thx! Thomas
i dont know but in x-plane trainer you can see a sneak peak of the updates for the other x-plane apps=>the water looks more realistic
Thanks for keeping us up to date. I just tried X-Plane Trainer. The sea is more detailed which is good, as it was something I kept on begging Laminar Research to change. I don't know if it is just me, but the aircraft model seems to be more detailed. One thing that I would love to see in the X-plane series is an 'in cockpit view', like the currentn FP view, but a more realistic one where you can see the cockpit interior and intruments. It would be awesome if you could look around inside, also. Like the PC X-plane series. Anyone agree?

you have to fly on hawaii,then choose random flight in the settings and you are most likely over the water so,what about the pics of the new planes in extreme?
yea,but i still dont like the landscapes: 1.there should be trees and buildings on the ground 2.cities should be bright during the night anyway,its a fantastic game for a "normal" phone btw:when you fly during the night in x-plane trainer you can see stars! and the sky looks more realistic than in the normal x-plane app
