Universal Spellsword -(by Everplay)

Ok, didn't expect to enjoy this game so much that I completed all the available stages in 1 go.
I hate SCB and Muffin Knight by the way, just not my type of game but Spellsword really drew me in with the different mission/stages and the RPG elements of upgrading spells/equipment.

Definitely worth it, check it out.

 

I guess they can just change it and it wouldnt affect the gameplay anyway.

 

Well, the earlier comparisons to SCB and MK kind of put me off a bit, but now I may have to reconsider. I really like both SCB and MK, but haven't played them in a while and wasn't sure if I wanted yet another game in that category.

1: Sorry I don't really know how to differentiate between Retina or not. The graphics look fine on an iPhone 4 though.

2: 3 to 3 1/2 hours, level 43. Didn't touch the Endless mode yet and there's more stages coming soon from what I see.

 

aren't rupee's a monetary unit in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Indonesia, formerly in Burma, and Afghanistan?


What's so wrong about using that name as currency?


Oh right... another game used it, and now the real world use for it is copyrighted?


Anyways... really really.... Why is it wrong to use the word rupee as currency?

 

Wow! Thanks for all of the discussion going on for Spellsword. Didn't expect so much chatter in a new thread so quickly.

To answer some questions:
1. Yes, its all Retina, even with the iPad 3 (New iPad). Of course, text and stuff is purposefully pixelated, but still higher resolution.
2. Rupees...Yeah, who paid a lot of homage and created Easter Eggs based on other games, movies, etc. This includes sayings, items, and more.

 

Don't tell Nintendo that....

 

I played and reviewed Spellsword last night and can honestly say that it was amazing. Gave it a 10/10. Don't miss this one Bucks and Hens!

If they did sue, I think that might even top Lima Soft's frivolous lawsuit over the use of "Doodle" on the AppStore.
