    What are you talking about?

The graphics are awesome! Everything is very distinguishable. I find the art style and graphics are a + and a major selling point. I'd buy another game like this in a heartbeat.

    It's a great game.

Might I say: Holy Hell this is GOOD.!

I even see a certain Sheep of Quantum proportions on the leaderboards, that in and of itself is a sign you've got a potential hit on your hands here.

@Chiller One, I've had no trouble distinguishing enemies nor debris from backgrounds nor my ship. I don't feel the vids and screenies do this justice. This game almost pops out of the retina display.

Great job dev and thanks for being active here on TA!

I've already been well and truly displaced from the top of all the leaderboards :)

Any tips on how to beat SS Sabbath? I don't know if I'm just rubbish at this game but with one life I'm not getting very far.

    Sure!

You start the next stage with the amount of lives you reached it with. So you beat the SS Whitesnake with 1 life left.
You should try, now that you've unlocked a better ship (you have the Dimebag), beating the SS Whitesnake again but this time with more lives left.
Then you'll be able to start the SS Sabbath with more lives.

No problem. Also you get more pick-ups (shields etc) if you kill entire waves of baddies. ;)

I'm now starting SS Sabbath with 2 lives; I can tell Tatanak is shaking in his boots. ;)

Whitesnake? sabbath? the shipnames put a big smile on my face.

And in addition it's a great game too. Graphics are perfect, pacing is very cool and quite different from your basic shmups.

I still suck at it, but will keep on practising. Good soundtrack too.

    worth every cent!

I think this is the main reason I like this game - while I enjoy bullet-hell shmups, I prefer the slower relative pace of older games of this type.

I think the pacing's just right! For me, anyway :)

Thanks Sheepy. I deffo wasn't going for bullet hell. Starseed is a tribute to old-spool C64, specie, and early arcade, shooters for sure.

So glad you're enjoying it :)

Wait! There's a ship called the Dimebag? My favorite shredder of all time. (except Jimi) I was on the fence about buying this until I saw 'Dimebag'.

I'm looking forward to trying this.
