Well when I first read about this game I was excited because the only part about trenches I really liked was zombie horde and I thought this game would only focus on expanding on that game mode. How is "story mode" going to be different from the "campaign"? It still seems to me like it's just going to replace the skins from the old game.
In Trenches, you were fighting against the German Army during the first Great War. In Stenches, you will be a contingent from the British Royal Expeditionary Force during the aftermath of the war and after the victory over the Germans. Can't spoil too much here, though! In a way, this is ONLY an expansion on the Zombie Horde mode.
I wouldn't bother wasting your time with France, unless of course you plan on making a level where you don't have to fight, instead choosing to drop your weapons and wave a white flag in which case France will be the 'best' country to pick for getting gold in this level...
40 countries sent troops for the Multi-National Force, France wasn't one of them... Anyhow I'll be getting Stenches as soon as it's available, it looks sweet. NB: I can't help but imagine Jetjet's post being said in the same style as MJ in South Park's Dead Celebrities episode, "You're ignorant...", lol...
Viva La Resistance Actually, France was a major force during the first World War and had expert artillerymen that were capable of holding off the enemies for a significant part of the war. Now....World War 2 was another matter...
I'm getting my iPhone 4 on the 26th of this month so if Stenches is released before then I may try and resist temptation until I have it so that the first time I see it will be in all its Retina glory!!! I doubt I'll last that long though as I've got no willpower!
Sorry to disappoint but I'm English hence the fact that I don't get on my high horse whenever humour, sarcasm or irony is used. Perhaps descending from criminals has made you lose your understanding of these?
It pisses me off knowing bootant is working so hard on Victory Day and all the fanboys of Trenches will prefer this. Plus, it's just a skin swap. Maybe some different dynamics would settle it for me.
Even if your right, the Dev is still making tons of money because 98% of people who owned Trenches will buy this game. So I doubt the Dev cares about your complaints.
