Whoa there, haha. I thought he was actually pretty nice about it. He was mostly criticizing the game, not me. Thanks for the love though :]. I don't remember too many old faces, but I do miss seeing Big Albie around here. He was a good guy.

I think most of us "old-timers" miss Big Albie -- the most generous poster ever to cross this domain.

I am strongly opinionated about story, as you can see. But that's no excuse. I didn't realize I was attacking someone, let alone the well-respected. I guess I will get out then...

    P.S. Phoenix Wright is poop!

    P.P.S. I'm staying :D

Dead space is quite story orientated. But the often overlooked robocalypse has a good story that is quite funny.

As you appear to be a fan of Western RPGs, you're choices will be somewhat limited on iOS.

The Quest is an "old-school" traditional/western RPG. Turn-based, First Person. Traditional skill based. Open-ended/Sandbox. Has elaborate game mechanics (easily the most detailed RPG system on an iOS game, more detailed than Arena, slightly less so than Daggerfall).

Gamebook Adventures and Fighting Fantasy present lots of gamebook options. Very story driven, as you might expect.

Fabled Lands is a new release, based on a gamebook series as well. Unlike GA or FF, this is non-linear/sandbox. Comparable to playing Tunnels & Trolls.

I probably wouldn't recommend any other iOS RPGs (even the other Western ones), as they tend to have watered down storylines. Think more along the lines of Legend of Zelda than Morrowind.

Chaos Rings Series... The stories are what keeps me moving forward.

For an endless runner, Blood Roofs has an amazing story arc which continues after multiple replays as long as you fulfill the requirements for the story to unfold.

The rest i can think of which are pretty much driven forward by the game's backstory:
    Horn
    Lili
    Saturday Morning RPG
    The World Ends With You
    Bastion
    Drakerider
    Momonga Pinball
    Mass Effect Infiltrator
    Shadowgun
    Wild Blood
    The Dark Knight Rises
Heist: The Score (the on-rails shooter, has a good unfolding linear story line)
Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes
