I want to know the very millisecond this game is available for download, so would it be better to keep refreshing the App Store search every few seconds, or Appshopper? Thanks!
When you search for Playdek the app store states "Showing 1-4 of 4 results"' despite the fact that Ascension, Nightfall and Foodfight are the only games visible. Wonder if that means it'll be up soon.
Sure. Nightfall was released on a Friday. I don't recall when Ascension and Food Fight were released. The point is that Playdek has not traditionally waited for the Thursday release date and also hasn't released things first to the NZ store.
Anticipation has reached Fever pitch! Was hoping to see it before the week (and June) was out, but the day is quickly running out. Not sure if they'd do a release on the weekend - if not, fingers crossed for Monday...
This whole experience of following a game from submission to release has not been very rewarding. The latest update from Gary at BGG So check back on Monday folks.
That's really too bad. I was looking forward to playing this all weekend while the wife and kids were out of town. All the crappy and bug-filled apps that get through Apple's review process and they hold up a game from Playdek? Inexcusable.
Apple apparently does review apps over the weekend, possibly. So there's some quantum of hope, but not enough that you should keep checking for the release.
I really wanted to see this by Friday. That being said with all the content incoming with Summoner Wars I suppose it's just more game to Review. Wish I knew more people who enjoyed the physical copy as much as I do.
I bought the physical copy after I couldn't wait for this any longer. Trying to teach my six year old now. This is by far the best board game I've ever played. Im hoping to see this way before Friday, I'm thinking Monday or Tuesday could be our day.
tell me how that goes. I have a hard time finding stuff for my 3 yr old. still I'm buying board games to pile up so as soon as she gets a bit older, we can play. I totally plan to buy Sunmoner Wars master set in preparation for that.
Right now it's kind of like playing it solitaire. Once he starts to read more I don't think he'll have a hard time jumping in. If anything it helped me get a good feel for the game and the different factions.
Here is a little light reading while we wait. The article is pretty recent. App review process: what happens behind the scenes
You mean that there are actual people behind the scenes at Apple and not just evil robots? And that it is not some conspiracy to keep YOUR favorite game from being released "on time"?
