I just did a double-take too, LOL. If Gabrien is glowing like this for Swordigo, it is clearly my destiny to buy it immediately.

Freaking incredible. Just entered the fifth area, truly one of the best iOS experiences I have ever had. This game is amazing.

I am really enjoying this too. Job well done! The controls are fantastic -- super tight. I really like the music too. I am just wondering how long this really is. The items seem to be quite cheap... unless they get replaced. How many zones or areas are there? I am on the 4th now.

Damn, Gabrien is broken. Does he still have warranty?
At least he admitted to have a heart. ;)

The only thing more shocking than Gabe's comments are the comments...commenting on his...erm....comments. >_> If you've never really seen past his outspoken "negativity", you really aren't looking in the right places. :p The Carota! thread would be a very recent example of this.

Also, Swordigo...my God it's so good to be an iOS gamer sometimes. 'nuff said. Honestly, this makes the combination of every other release that just came out look like a joke. Amazing. I'm so, so, so glad Touch Foo didn't turn out to be a one trick pony. These guys, bar none, are the kings (and possibly queens) of platforming on iOS.

Yeah, this game is nothing short of amazing. Finally was able to put some time into it just now after grabbing it three hours ago. I wouldn't be surprised if this beat out Angry Birds Space for Apple's GOTW.

    Edit: Resyncing Soosiz.

Why is everyone giving positive impressions but no one even bothered to explain the gameplay even once?

Looks like a standard 2.5D Zelda/Metroid platformer to me. Am I missing something? (other than a heart)

It is really like... Zelda II meets Link to the Past with a dash of Paper Mario like backdrops and a Wonder Boy in Monster Land feel. It is just damn good.

Well, I am NOT into platformers normally.

But this one sold even me. Will buy it when back home @ WiFi.

I am just glad to see that it has no level timer, unlike so much other platformers.

Well, if someone were to describe it that way, I'd say they are correct. It's just that there are not very many games of this genre on the iOS, and almost none that are worthwhile. (Obviously, some people's opinions may differ.)

Chiming in to express my amazement and love for this wonderful game.

And Gabrien made me laughed out loud. I'm amazed at that too. :)

Re gunxsword: Metroid platforming with a story, rpg elements and tight controls. Just.. get it. Don't know what you are waiting for. This is game that broke Gab.
