I think the key you can buy from a merchant is just a normal key that can be used on any locked door one time. I dont think there is anything special about it other than being able to skip a key fetching section.

Just Time the bomb spell exactly so it explodes in mid air NEAR the breakable wall.
It's tricky I admit but doable, Good luck!

Then why is it cost so much?!
I should have gotten the other thing, I don't care about achievements anyway..:(

Do you know how to get to that one treasure there?

There's some guy in the same area that says that he's missing his key for his house... related, maybe?

If you find a stray rental cart in the mall and return it you can get a dollar for it!

Any advice on the guy with the twirling knives? And what does the trinket of fire do?

    I'll try that. :D

    Honestly, I don't live near a close Gamestop or a store that sells iTunes cards. I don't have a debit/credit card.. (I'm 16) :(

    - - and I'm trying to save enough money to buy an iPad 2.. I got like $65 bucks plus $160 (considering I'm going to sell my iPod 4gen 8gig for $160 to someone as it's in perfect condition), so.. Almost there.

I think you can hit his knives back at him by jumping and slashing. I prefer to hit him with Magic, though.

Trinkets are socketable into either your weapon, armour, or spell. Check description to see what socketing does in a given slot.

I talked to him several times and "knocked" on his house as well.
I don't usually go for FAQ Walkthroughs etc.
But there is a fine line between "Oh this really make me think" and "If it didnt cost ~750$ I would throw it across the room!".

By all means, I want to know I didnt't sepnd
    999
    crystals for nothing. :(

I understand your pain (in other games, though).

I found the way to get into his house,
and that is to place a magic bomb and jump at the right time. If you do it right, you'll get blasted to the other side, and you can go through the back door.

    OMG!!!!

The devs are sadistic (but I love 'em of course).
I swear I tried it but I was like meh.. NO WAY.

Gonna try it now, hope those crystals are worth it!

It saddens me though because that means there is no
    triple jump
later in the game and I will need this
    "rocket jump"
for other Lost treasures bahh :(

    Something non-related to my suffering:
Did anyone else got that deja vu feeling from Soul Reaver: Legacy Of Kain when you heard that the
    Mageblade is shattered?

God, I would KILL to get LOK:SR on iOS :(
    Eidos, your call..

I wonder if that is actually intentional on the devs' part.

    I did it thx Felix!
And NO the key isn't used there and definitely NOT worth 999 crystals.
    I think it was intentional.
I also wish we could stash away less powerful swords, so we can choose between them.

    I learned my lesson I guess:eek:

There's a slightly less painful way, too.

Far to the right, there are three pots. While holding a pot, you can only do a single jump, and therefore you'll need to place one of them at the gap in front of his house so you can make the jump while holding a pot. Then, go back to the pots far to the right and bring the next one over. Jump on top of the first pot, jump across the gap and then place the second pot just in front of his house. Go back for the third pot and go back to his house, but this time put the third pot on top of the second pot. Now jump on top of the two pots and jump over :)

    Nice

I did it using only 2 though, 3 isn't needed just time your double jumps.

I got into the house a different way lol
at the edge of the top part of town there are three pots I use one to make the house reachable from the lower ledge with a pot in your hand and then stack the other two against the house and use them to jump the house. That might be easier or harder to do then the bomb trick I'm not sure.

Hmm...seems like you're able to buy the same item twice? If I buy the Iron Sword twice, will the item have any bonuses?

Nope. I tried buying the Fire Trinket twice, and it didn't work.

    Expert Advice Needed:

    1. Outskirts of Florennum

I found the first treasure chest after the knights gave me the Key. Where is the other? (I tried leaping across with a running head start to no avail after getting the Key. Didn't work)

    2. Corrupted Grove

After defeating the flying Corruptor, there is a huge chasm. Again, tried a running start but fall way short.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
