Alright well the official 2010 TA buyer's guide is out now. What do yall think of it? There was a lot of information to compile and it probably took a long time to write-up so major props to Eli on that one. The biggest bone I have to pick with it is that Galaxy on Fire 2 was left off. To me that is certainly one of the best games of the year and is probably in my top 3.
Man, I'm so bummed I missed out on Galaxy on Fire 2. I spent a bit this holiday season and have more than enough games to keep me occupied for a while, so I'll probably wait for it to drop price.
Yeah MC2 didn't exactly do anything new with it's campaign but the 10-player COD-like multiplayer was truly impressive to have on a phone.
Best Graphics: I can't not mention Eternal Legacy for its graphics Best Multiplayer: Carcassonne Best Casual Game: Fruit Ninja Worst Noteworthy Game: I would name one but I haven't played it, so that isn't really fair. Best Developer: Nimblebits (just kidding - its NimblebiT!!) Best Driving Game: I don't like racing games Best Port: Secret Of Mana Best Game No One Knows about: Shibuya and Puzzle Panic Most Overhyped: Hmm there were so many Best TD Game: Plants vs Zombies Best Match-3: Sparkle Best RPG: Chaos Rings Best Card Game: Battle Lines Most Addictive: Pocket Frogs Games You're Sick of Hearing about: The most addicting doodle better than Angry Ropes games Overall Game of the Year: Ok this requires a little thought.
