It was a total surprise but Beat Hazard Ultra will have my vote this week. Possibly the most fun DSS I've played on the iOS. As GoofyMaster said, even using the Internet radio option, it's fantastic.
Beat Hazard Ultra I think Rebuild should be in the list too, it just turned universal and I had the chance to play it.
Beat Hazard Ultra Totally random game I never heard of..and pretty much instantly bought with no research done, and was pleasantly surprised. One of the few games in recent purchases that I couldn't put down.
As much as I love Rebuild (I've just bought it too), I don't think it can be considered to be new release because it's an update and not a separate new apps - and this week's has so many interesting new games.

Exactly. There were a ton of awesome releases but Dariusburst may be the best iOS game ever. I'm sure the price tag will keep it from winning the popular vote but it's easily the game of the week, not to mention year, decade, etc.
...LOL. Period. Well, BHU is currently in the lead with 12 votes and all other games have 2 or less votes.
I'm guessing you haven't played it. BHU is fantastic and cheap but it's a minigame compared to Dariusburst.
