Apocalyse Knight Im having alot of fun with (no need to purchase Iap...on level 37) Asphalt 7...Gets my Vote
I'd probably end up voting for Asphalt 7. I really want to like Magic..but its a bit hard to get into (I'm fairly new to these cards games). I like the pacing of Ascension much more (feels a lot faster than Magic, even against 3 AI) and the basic rules to for Ascension is relatively easy. Magic seems so much more complex. Despite all the comments about Magic 2013 supposedly being good for beginners, it feels so much more complex (scry, tumble, wall; different phases, instants, etc...) Frankly, I'm not as into the deck building aspects (granted, from what I read the app has very limited deck building). I do appreciate the 3 decks they give you feels pretty different so I'm sure the rest of the decks will be pretty unique as well. I'll give it some more time to see if it grows on me more (finished the free campaign with the 3 decks and the one 4-player mode game). That..and I hope Magic can somehow be made to work on the ipod touch/iphone. I actually prefer Ascension on the ipod than on the ipad..
