I have to grant them credit, for a free life gimmick the game makes you work for it as you need to actually roughly predict the time of your death beforehand.
Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that we submitted Temple Run v1.3 to Apple last night! This is our 3rd update since launch, woohoo! Here is what's new in this release: -Universal iPad support! -2 new characters (Barry Bones and Karma Lee) -8 new objectives (achievements) -Ability to tweet your score -More special offers for FREE coins -Ability to use coins to remove ads (if you had enabled them before) -Game center achievements now sync correctly at the end of each game -Major performance improvements on older devices -Lots of little enhancements and bug fixes ...and now it's time to get started on update 4! ;-) Definitely, keep those ideas for improvements coming! We've got a lot of things left that we want to add to the game, and we're going to try keeping the updates frequent. Glad everyone is enjoy the game so much! -Keith

Another happy player here, it's a real 'twitch' game later on, you are either in the zone or out. I like the bongos too, I was thinking the other day that most music would annoy in this kind of game. I've maxed everything out and am still having fun but was thinking that maybe there could be progressive upgrade for each power-up frequency. I like the length of them now but if I'd pay to get that magnet more often Maybe a rare 'slow down' power up too for the latter stages, might break the flow of the game though. Good work and keep the updates coming.
I've completed all Objectives and bought everything in the store now. Looking forward to the update. My record is around 3 millions, and I've reached around 13.000 meters.

The ability to remove ads only applies if you *enabled* ads in exchange for free coins. So we didn't just add ads to a game that people paid for...
I didn't ask for coins fired up the game and have ads, so sorry I made that assumption. I did not click on get free coins, yet that option is gone now and I have ads. Bug? Sorry if I was a little upset before, I just assumed since I did nothing but play one run to test out universal then was greeted by ads, that the ads were enabled by default. Oh well, I guess I will just put this aside until I feel like getting 25000 coins. iOS 4.5.3, ipad2 btw one other weird thing was after the race I checked game center fine, then a few seconds later I had to sign in to gc again and accept tos, then the third time I fired it up the game crashed. Ps I sent kshep an apology for being do hasty with blame.
I heard that now with iOS 5 we can save our progress in games on iCloud , could you implent this in a next minor update ?
Good updates Nice updates... Getting coins would be easy now.. just take a view of short video and get 250 coins.... Unlocked all the characters and upgraded everything in the store... Only tough is to complete the allergic 1000mts run still trying for it...
