The matchmaking does not work, you can only play with people who you invite/who invite you. The Dev has said that he cannot tire the 'auto match' function off as it is built into game centre.
I've begun the suspended highway based on my previous suspended garden try. The idea is for it to be flat at all time, about 15 blocks above sea level. I use wooden blocks so no back walls, and dirt over to plant whatever I have. Already done perhaps a thousand block long and began digging in a mountain. Not sure I'll keep up with it, it's a lot of work lol. As you see it's infested with donkeys, which is good as they are the only locomotion you'll get And I'm not sure the sea level is always at the same height, that could be a problem if the highway has to run underwater!
About to drain the ocean into the lava at the center of the world. Hope it actually evaporates the water and the water doesnt just sit there. Have openings in the side that allow it to empty into caverns if it does though.

An easier way ( If you are near one of the poles) is to wait for the sea to freeze and take the ice back with you instead, it can be stored in chests without melting.
Yep that's what I did. Brought back 250 blocks of ice. Then you just have to lay them in your future pool, they'll melt. If not put a campfire under it! About the water, the game handles it very well. I flooded a huge cave it was intense lol You'd better not be in deep because the water takes away all torches and lanterns. Not for a claustrophobic BH! I also was in my boat on the sea when it suddenly froze! Then I had to run when it started to melt again lol! I hope fried sushi wil post his flooded lava core . That should be interesting And last tip, use also the golden shovel it's the easy way to get the rare coffe cherry
.... mining them with a gem axe. Work your way up through the gem axes, I personally had explored a ton so I went straght to sapphire, then ruby, then diamond.
