I'm guessing deer won't be that many lines said in the game. Deer mating should have a mini game like in God of War. Sounds like it'll play like Guacamelee mixed with Sword & Sworcery. Please throw in a giant chicken somewhere. Hint at a Chicken God sequel?
I try not to look at the upcoming threads to better manage my expectations. I prefer to track upcoming games when they are a few weeks to days out. However, the game title was so intriguing and the demo vid was so captivating that I'm really looking forward to this game. Now, I'm going to go bonkers with anticipation until its release. One Thing To Be Cleared! Hey Josh, I need one thing to be cleared which is will you be playing the human or the deer?
In a sense, both. You're human at first, I assume, and you work to survive out in the wilderness. When you die, you'll become resurrected, but as a deer, instead of human, with your mind intact. Essentially, it's a Demon's/Dark Souls kind of thing, if you can catch my drift.
Hilarious! watched the video. So.... Hmmm... they have babies. If the deer loses his life, he comes back as one of the babies. So funny. Although, must admit that it sounds a little bit like the 'horned God' in some nature based/earth religions. I like the look of the game. Kind of like a stylized surrealism?? (If that makes sense . )
thank you! this is really just the beginning, there's nothing in terms of real gameplay in yet. We're just getting level generation working, then have to get the character AI straightened out... plenty of other stuff.
