Universal The Enchanted Cave 2 (by Dustin Auxier)

Could someone please explain how to get the dragon scale armour that the character (in the bar) in the Spider-Man like outfit asks
you to find for an item exchange?

I have gone through all 79 levels before that final boss and have not found it yet. I have about a 73% drop rate for items.

I think you get it from the green flying or white sleeping dragons ,but only get health potions and a crafting item all the time.

Okay, I figured it out. There are actually 100 levels , not 80.

Today The Enchanted Cave 2 received a major update free for all owners!

Full list of changes:

• Added 3 challenge game modes
• Added 5 new heroes (one only in green goo's quest)
• Heroes now have unique starting stats
• Added 2 new NPCs that can be helped
• Added 7 new items (one only in monster's lair)
• Added 2 new monsters (both only in monster's lair)
• Added a new merchant
• Added bonus infinity skill nodes to skill tree that are revealed when a full branch is completed
• Added Import/Export feature to transfer save data between devices
• Added monster descriptions to bestiary
• Reduced MP use of attack magic from 8 to 7
• Increased value of "magic" enchantments by 50%
• Fixed bug where magic bonus with crafted potions had no effect
• Small visual improvements to some UI elements.
• Fixed some visual bugs with spritesheet edges on some objects
• Fix when enchanting to have an item's single current enchantment selected by default when adjusting enchantments.
• Fixed a rare soft-lock that can happen when clicking anywhere immediately after death
• Improved rain performance
• Improved final boss intro performance

Do you have to start with a new character to see the changes?

 

Nope, all the changes apply to old saves as well. You can even change your character once while in town to choose one of the new heroes have have your stats adjusted.

For the 3 challenge modes those are completely separate game modes that are started from a new game.

 

Dunno how I missed this one, taking the plunge!

 

I find the controller support seems not totally work, I had to touch screen to move my character, otherwise the controller works.

I am using Steelseries Nimbus controller.

 

I missed this first time around. Not sure how but I’m glad it resurfaced. Bought and now seriously hooked.

There should be a change character button in the options, the gear icon in the menu. It only applies to old saves before the update since those didn't have unique stats for different characters. New games started in the update won't allow you to switch characters.

 

Thanks for reviving this game and the post - I hadn't heard of it before. It got me through 10 hours of flights this weekend and I'm totally hooked.
