iPad The Quest

NOOOOOOOOOOOO you cant take the quest off the app store. All you have to do is say i dont want these features it isnt that hard. That is what I did and the quest has not crashed yet

 

I have managed to get it started and turned off Open Feint as you suggested. All good here

 

I am sure it will be only until they fix it.

 

As to my above question about Luko overwriting Hero.. I have just tested it and its all good.

What iPhone OS version do you have?

I've now confirmed personally that it crashes on OS 3.1.1. Not always, so starting again and again is a good tactic, but we can't let it be in the App Store in this state.

Lots and lots of people would download the update (or buy the game) and most of them wouldn't check either this forum or our website (where we also put up the news). They would decide that the game is crap and tell everyone and maybe put up one star reviews. It's not a good solution but still the best one, unfortunatelly.

However let me reiterate for those who did manage to update the game to 3.2 or who have bought it fresh: please try to restart the game (even holding your device differently everytime, like once narrow side down then wide side down), then switching off OpenFeint when you manage to get into the game.

 

I can personally confirm Elendils fix. Just did it myself. It took a few minutes to get the game up but now its running fine.

Time to explore the Undead City!

 

Was starting right up for me, but I went and disabled OpenFient just to be safe.

Normally I'd be sorry to hear this, but The Quest doesn't have any achievements or anything that I was doing with OF anyway.

Of course.

Just remember that without the update The Quest still crashes on Silvergirl's Silver Dragon robe. So don't talk about the "Acting Headmistress" topic when you meet Silvergirl in HOL I.

Graphics look kind of crappy, i'll wait for RAVENSWORD!

 

Once you get into the game and quests the graphics mesh well.

 

I just want other people to enjoy this great game. Its all about sharing.

If I'm not mistaken, it should be in a little pond or a indentation with water. Forgive me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I did that quest.

Kisses and hugz. Elendil is working very hard. Too bad there is not a rescue Elendil quest in the Quest or its expansions, we would all lift our swords and cast our spells to get things set right!

 

Do you guys think this game will ever go on sale? Seems like it's been out forever with no sign of price drop...
