I might be a little late to this party, but do any of you play Borderlands 2? I'm curious of Krieg is worth buying.

I played it quite a lot, but wasn't tempted by Krieg at all. If you ask me, melee is easily the weakest part of Borderlands combat, so focusing on it and less on the awesome weaponry just wasn't an alluring concept.

I didn't see much of a reason to do melee in BL2 considering the vast array of firearms available. I really liked playing Gaige. I couldn't get into Maya at all.

I bought him on sale but haven't bothered playing yet, there's quite a few reviews for the DLC though. I find most DLC overpriced but generally don't balk when it's on sale (stopping short of all the costumes).

I think it's more a character if you want to mix it up a bit and play from another perspective or approach.

I found SR2 a bit too frat boy for me, the humour just felt awkward and not really funny at all. I only spent a very limited time playing SR3 but it presented itself better with some genuine laughs, but having not gotten too deep I could be missing out on a bit. Should really play and finish it.

GTA IV had good characters but the constant inane phone calls and soullessness of the city killed it.

I've never liked any GTA game ever released, which is party why the Saints Row games look bad. They seem to combine the gameplay I dislike with humor that annoys me.

I've never used Origin before. Does it work like Steam where you need to open the program first to play the game? If that's the case, how is locking you out of your games legal?

I don't normally buy DLC either for the same reason, but I made an exception for BL2. I don't regret spending $10 on Gaige at all. :p

    So... Humble EA Bundle.

Pay $1 or more to get these games on Origin:
    Dead Space 1
    Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box
    Crysis 2 Maximum Edition
    Mirror's Edge
    Dead Space 3
    Medal of Honor
    Battlefield 3 (Beat the Average)
Sims 3 Starter Pack (Beat the Average)

Of those games, Steam keys are available for Dead Space 1, Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Medal of Honor, and Mirror's Edge.

I was considering it, but of course the "big" games aren't available on Steam. I might actually pass on this one.

    /gasp

If only it were, and not the Origin bundle, I might have bought it. The only game on that list worth buying a second time is BF3, due to the differences between the PC and console versions. But it's one of the few not available on Steam, and not even that price is low enough to convince me Origin is worth using.

And then you still wouldn't be able to play anything with decent settings.

  17. If you wanted to, you could always pay $1 for all of the games with Steam keys and split the price between only Humble and the charities. You'd get next week's added bonuses too.

I'm not sure I'd ever play those games on PC as I've already done them to death on console. But you're right, it's worth paying $1 to get five more games added to my library just in case I ever feel the urge.
