This is what will decide me on the game or not. Would love to know if this system is still in the game in some fashion.
The only way I figured out how to use twitter in the game is by adding #TWEWY as a search term after hitting edit. I've seen a few tweets popping up since then.
Just sent an email to square enix about porting it to the itouch. Hopefully they will get back to me with good news.
Tweeting to them may help more actually, as anyone who searches for #TWEWY will see it. There's a possibility due to the twitter integration that those tweets might be scannable in game and Square won't like that, so maybe they'll do something for it.
Yeah, true. I myself have made blind purchases like that in the past, which is why I now come to this site to read people's comments prior to making purchases like that. Had I not read the comments here about this game, I probably would have done the same thing as those people that gave out the 1-star reviews. I guess I get excited and just buy whatever I see as long as it says iPhone 4 (which for the longest time in my mind automatically meant compatible with iPod Touch 4). -_- The naivety.
Makes me wish I had twitter! I want this game for the itouch badly. I personally like my itouch better than my DS.
back to topic? thanks for talking me into this, this game is a experience *thumbs up* seriously, this is great stuff. wasn't impressed with chaos rings, but this one is pretty awesome. the music is original for this game?
I can't seem to find the game in the app store, was it taken down? And why can't it play on a iPod Touch 4, if it can on a iPhone 4? TWEWY coming to iOS was too good to be true, there had to be a catch.

This has been discussed several times in this thread all iPod generations, iPad 1 and older iPhone generations ( 2g,3g and 3GS ) are not supported Square Enix some how blocked the access of these devices, so you wont be able to see the game from the app store on iPod touch even if you tried installing the game on your iPod touch using iTunes it wont work.
I'm impressed with the file size - 2.3 gb uncompressed from what I read, wow. I looked up the nintendo DS ROMs just to compare and the downloads are all 65-77 mb (so maybe 150 mb tops uncompressed?). Is it 'new ipad' retina to be so large? I'm about to buy it, hoping the graphics are awesome on my ipad 2. Edit: just found the pic Sanuku posted:
