Haha! Thanks. Even if you guys don't release a betat before the initial release, I'm willing to help test out future updates and releases. Nice to hear that there will be a multiplayer released. I'm definitely looking forward to that. Will it support iCloud and be asynchronous? I'm really not a huge fan of IAP, but if the pricing is right I'll definitely pick it up. Right now I'm just looking forward to the main game. Can't wait!
yes, iCloud and yes, asynchronous! I talked about our first game "Companions" (iPad only). Time of Heroes will have IAP too, either on release or later on. but as always with our games, you won't need them to play and enjoy the game.
today we finally implemented the skill trees. there are six different types of skill trees, two for each "class" of hero. it's still in german. the activated skill on the picture is called "Ranger" and gives all units within command range of the hero a 15% defence bonus when occupying a forest field. ah, by the way. if you ever wondered what a smuttlewerker looks like, you can see it here: Home of the smuttlewerkers
What I want is a full 3d real physical simulation of smuttlegiaco's beard. Holy hell that thing is awesome!
this game is really looking up to have all the new features that we want -btw, would love to get on the beta too (if there will be one)-
@the9quad: hehe, one of the heroes, his name is Ungbar, has a beard like mine: @Trev1: no, we hope to release the game in mid/late november. @wilflare: noted!
well, ungbar definitly has more muscles. but I am better looking of course... have a look at our blog. the northern people were added today.
check out our blog for the newest unit descriptions -> just klick on the portraits. Have a nice weekend! BTW: Companions is on sale right now. check it out!
Skill Tree and characters are looking good. I looked through some of the pages, but didn't see anything about release date. What's the timeframe look like at this point?
Ah I've gotta admit, the game looks pretty old school from the screenshots and interface, but it certainly does have a nice charm to it. Oh and there are skill trees and equipments!? COUNT ME IN!!!
yes, the screenshots were made with an iPod3 (except the overland map screenshot). we already altered the font and once the polishing begins, it'll look much better!
