Hope you're still taking applications, I've been preparing mine all morning! This is absolutely perfect timing for me, I'm a stay-at-home dad and I've really needed something extra to do with my days. I mean, playing games all week is great and all, but being able to write about them would be awesome My wife would really appreciate it if I got this position I'm sure, as she wouldn't have to sit there listening to me tell her about EVERY new game I get and all the things I love/hate about them Good luck to everyone who applied, may the most informative/entertaining writer(s) win!!!
Oh also, this doesn't really have any kind of "deadline" or anything else. We're basically always looking for talented people to join our team in some capacity or another. No rush.
I don't see myself writing a long article.. Maybe a short two to three paragraphs :/ I guess I'm out-- It would be cool to be employed by TA though. I think it would be an interesting idea if two to three reviews are chosen from the review section each week and pay them with a game (gift them via iTunes). This would also encourage forum members to possibly write reviews. I know people wanted Mission Europa to be reviewed and I would assume many has already done so on iTunes... And I remember Arn posted some of BigAlbie's articles on the front page (did he ever get paid? ).
That's great to hear, I can calm down and take my time What exactly do you mean by "some capacity or another"? What other jobs are there on Touch Arcade? This piques my interest because even though I may not be the best writer, I still have a lot of time on my hands and would love to be a part of TA in some form or another.
Anyone got a good idea for a game for me to review? I have a couple in mind, but I'm interested to see what you guys think?
I was going to do Kosmo Spin, but then changed my mind. It seems easy enough to review, you could do that one?

Done!!! It took 9 solid hours, but I finally just finished writing up my resume and sent it off! Lets hope it wasn't all pointless...

That's not a good thing to admit. You should have said that all those errors were intended and part of the plan to demonstrate your personality.
