    Sorry to necro this thread.

I am loving Tumbledrop, I have all the medals on the first 60 levels and most on the last 20. I am however at a loss as to how level 72 is completed even normally without earning a medal.

I have searched far and wide but there seems little in the way of walkthroughs or similar for this game on the net.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. No worries at least you resurrected a fantastic game. :D

Can you take a screen shot of the level. It looks like I deleted my Tumbledrop file by mistake. :(

I would be happy to buy more levels as IAP.

    Tumbledrop level 72

Good question: I just passed this level today after many weeks of banging my head against the wall. I did it in 4 moves.

Here is how I did it, using only the blocks on the right hand side.

    1) take out the bottom right triangle.
    2) take out the middle triangle.

Now the rest of the blocks will fall in such a way that the top half-disc rests on the top-left vertex of the star. It will stay there in a rather unstable equilibrium for a couple of seconds. The equilibrium is unstable because the whole thing is now resting on the other half-disc.

This instability is actually the key because now you can
    3) remove the last triangle remaining and the rest of the blocks will then swing to the left of the screen. Because the top half-disc was resting on top of the top-left vertex of the star, that will pull the star slightly to the left. That's your chance to

    4) take out the block that holds the star.

It will fall to the floor and if everything has gone well it will stay at the very edge of the platform.

    Success!

If anybody knows how to do this in 3 moves please post!

    Hi Kantaroo,

Thanks for the strategy it worked a treat!

After completing in 4 moves using that strategy I was then able to complete in 3 moves by skipping step 4 (the block that holds the star) and depending on timing the star would land safe 50% of the time.

10 moves was also easy using your strategy so thanks for the help.

Now for level 80 which I have only completed once without medals and that was by luck...

Okay I now have all the medals apart from the heart medal on level 70. I don't seem to be able to complete the level any more despite getting the star medal several months ago.

    Any help greatly appreciated :)

    I miss this game.

It's not even listed in the UK store anymore.
