I tried it on my ipod touch 5g, and had the same problem after install. However, I rebooted my device completely, and than it worked just fine. I was not able to figure out how to restore my megapack purchase though. Purchased on my ipad. Needs syncing between devices. Still waiting to hear back on the Spike vocals too. Overall, I think this is a very cool resurrection of the Vectrex. I can't wait to show my father who still owns one.

My iPhone is jailbroken, but I have Xcon installed which normally overwrites dev's attempts to block jailbreaks. Hopefully it's a bug that the devs can fix, cause I would love to buy all of the Vectrex games, as I'm sure many other jailbroken users would too.

If the dev has figured out a way to neutralize Xcon and won't do anything to allow jail breakers to buy their games, then it's their own loss, cause no way I'd give up my jailbreak for one app. Please, devs, fix this and take my money instead.

I too, have Xcon. Along with Xcon alias. Doesn't work with this app. Anyways I'm done with this thread and this app. Peace.

There should be an age related warning on this game lol. Something along the lines of "Vectrex Regeneration contains age restricted material. If you never had a black and white TV as a kid, do not download."

Add me on Gamecenter if you're in to this app. Dogfaced.

It's ok, I will play the games on the iPhone 30 then. Haha! I do understand that there are still market for old school gamers and I do appreciate u guys reviving old sch games. This is also your USP, unique selling point. Hope to see something different in your next game.

Thank you very much for letting me know what usp stood for, almost to the point where the abbreviation wasn't required.

Picked up my iCade yesterday from Harvey Norman. Goes together really well. It's extremely solid. Was able to use it without having to remove my STM Skinny 3 Cover. Works so well. Used it with Vectrex, Pacman, MsPacman, iMame and Atari's Greatest Hits. Awesome piece of Hardware. Well worth $149. Only way to play all of these.

Playing this made me dig out the Vectrex from the attic. Played a little Armor Attack, Star Castle and Polar Rescue. Now the kids want to play it too. I must say that you did do a good job in emulating the games. The only thing is the joystick control is a little harder to use on the iPhone. I'm sure it's better on the iPad. Again it is a great game with great games.

I did the IAP on the iPad and it doesn't look like it synced to my iPhone. I was looking forward to trying the iPhone as wireless controller, but am a little hesitant to hit the buy mega pack again. Usually if you buy it on one device, it shows something like "restore purchases" on the other. I think I'll wait for an update. Has anyone here used the iPhone as the controller?

When you hit buy it will mention you already have it. I was a bit apprehensive pressing buy again but you definitely only pay once.

I'm not jailbroken anymore because i gave it up to play some recent releases that demanded I update my IOS. I'm not happy about devs restricting their apps on jailbroken devices as a matter of principal so I'm boycotting this app. I would have bought the full IAP otherwise.

So it looks like they are losing sales from both jailbroken and non-jailbroken users as a result of this decision.

Am I being incredibly thick here? I have tried this and don't seem to have a "Connect" option anywhere. Are these instructions correct?

I'm going to the default game on both my iPad and my iPhone, selecting Reset, then picking Menu on the iPad and my options are:

    Sound / Overlay / Controls / Reset / Continue

So I hit Controls and from here I can set Joystick Sensitivity / Joystick Display / Button Layout and turn Visibility on and off. That's it.

On the iPhone this menu only has Joystick Sensitivity and Button Layout, it doesn't have Visibility.

Wossa goin' on? Do I need to make the IAP to be able to use iPhone & iPad together?

Really ? You think a lot of devs should support jailbroken devices ? You might not play apps you've downloaded from the web but i'm sure many others do. Be ridiculous to think devs should always make sure their apps work on jailbroken devices !

Matter of principal ? Come on.

    iCade

Can anyone confirm if the iCade 8-Bitty works with this? I am thinking about getting one just for this. It is more affordable and portable than the cabinet.

I'm sure it is but they are working on the button configuration at mo as the controls aren't as they're supposed to be.

Finally got around to playing this on my iPad/iCade and it's fantastic. :D

But... I'm finding things way too dark on my iPhone4 - basically I can't play with overlays on at all - I can barely make out things. It's like the transparencies are too dark/thick. Looks fine on our iPad2 though.

Didn't get a chance to try out using an iPhone as a controller - was just way too much fun playing with the iCade. ;)
