A little bit of hype can go a long way... Please hype it just a bit so this game actually has a pulse when it launches. Don't make me break out the Defibrillators. I
New tidbit - from the comments section on the Freeverse story on the main page: Hippieman (of Freeverse) "Blake [TA writer] got to check out quite a bit from Warpgate. I expect we will be doing a story with TA (if they will have us) on the game very soon. WG is in a small closed beta right now, to ensure everything is working A OK before we submit to the App Store." So there may be a story in the next couple of days...
The TA writer that just wrote that update about those two freeverse games, also got to take a significant peak at Warp Gate while he was at the studio, so he'll probably post a writeup about the game sometime in the near future.
Fine with me i'm just kidding man. I haven't heard anything about it. Wasn't it announced in the summer?
the wait is overly frustrating, to say the least. A few weeks ago some of the developers came here on TA and suggested it would be released "soon" but we havent heard from them since. i think it was suggested that they were doing a small, private beta and putting the finishing touches, but that was a while ago.
What is up with all of this.....still no launch despite seeming closeness to completion? Ah well.....guess we'll just have to wait more T.T
Lol like ten years ago... Duke nukem forever was finished like 3 times and cancelled each time. I don't go off of preview builds, I go off of finished products and developer information which is pretty much nonexistant
I hope they release this game, otherwise just come out and say that it got canned. It would be the closest thing to Escape Velocity on the iPod Touch.
At some point during the last year I was interested. That quickly turned to frustration then to complete lack of caring. Freeverse has release 5-6-7 games since their last info. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE parachute ninja but I just don't care about Warp Gate anymore
Last post from the developer came on 1/20, about four weeks ago. I know that the App Store has warped people's perception of money and time, but to compare 4 weeks of silence to Duke Nukem Forever is delusional.
