When i first got into iOS gaming i bought tons of Gameloft games, DH 1 and 2, Heroes of Sparta 1 and 2. Now i no longer get excited by Gameloft. Freemium, arena based games etc. Nah. IF they somehow released Dungeon Hunter 4 and it was back to its roots and a proper RPG style game i must admit i would totally turn and be happy again with them !
I personally dont mind 'clones' or an 'homage' to an existing game. If that game isnt available on iOS i'm quite happy for a clone to appear. But again many games are also clones/homages to older games. Some people seem to think games were only created in the 2000's when many of those games were based on games from the 90s/80's and even earlier.
Nope. I agree with psj and I understand him. I loved GL games back when I got the iPhone. I played and beat MC1,2 Gangstar 1,2 Blades of fury, hero of Sparta 1, Brothers in arms 1, GT racing and some others. Now their games are all the same, yes I still download them (mostly) but I always get bored of them pretty quick.
Agreed! I have been buying GL games(during sales) but I have yet to finish any.I just..can't bring myself to spend(waste) anymore time on them after an hour or so. I actually enjoyed Gameloft's offerings on the java platform more! They had this cool Castlevania clone Soul of Darkness as well as Real Football Manager which was a mobile football manager game with fully animated matches using their real football game engine/assets x_X. I guess developing military shooters really sucks away all your creativity and innovativity. (DICE should get back to developing Mirror Edge 2 instead of churning out Battlefield sequels!)
Lets not give them any new ideas for Games. Let them concentrate on updating their current games to be IOS 6 complient! Start with UNO.
Dont get me wrong the game looks good but i'm not a 'huge' fan of Medal of Honor games. I've got 2 on my phone and i enjoy playing them from time to time but i wouldnt rush out to get the latest version, all a bit' samey' for me. Plus as its Gameloft it'll be some 1.9 gig installation file and i'll have to pay £4 for bullets like you do in Six Guns (which they ruined !) A Dungeon Hunter 4 would get me back onside, to be fair one of their last games (Forget the name, youre a warrior, theres a d-pad, its not open world but looked impressive) looked very good, just the installation file was huge. I'm not personally that bothered by stunning graphics, all about gameplay, give me a game which is 30 meg and blocky graphics but plays well over any 1.5 gig monster !
You know what i mean, Medal of Honor/Call of Duty/Battlefield and others. All roughly the same. Had them on the PC/consoles and now i've got one or two on my ipod as i like having a game for all different types but to me theyre roughly more of the same To be fair i'm sure people say that about runners or platformers.
I had over 60 runners on my 4S. Then i realized i have Blood Roofs, Polara, Punch Quest, TheEndApp, God of Blades, Rayman Junge Run, Agent Dash, Totem Runner, One Epic Knight, and Infinite Warrior. Was able to free up a significant amount of space, and dropped the number of runner games to 24.
