Been listening to Peter Gabriel New Blood since it came out - it's awesome. I like that he is doing more with the vocal mix on this one compared to Scratch My Back - however I feel like Scratch My Back had a more interesting mix for the orchestra. I feel like the arrangements don't stray far enough from the originals - I enjoy hearing songs like Darkness and Intruder done with the orchestra, but the re-arrangements done on Scratch My Back were so different from the originals that I was hoping he would take the same liberties with his own work. That being said - New Blood has some of the best vocals I have ever heard on a PG album (very dry and upfront in the mix - and he does tastefully effect his vocals throughout).

( and come to think of it, this was very important because joe public did not know what a computer was, how it would help him/her etc.. he had to be told.. and jobs sure had the magic when spoke about his product ) chris.
